Woodcrest is the third single from my upcoming record 'Two Hours' coming July 7th. This one is really special to me. It feels like it has its own life after everyone who’s put their magic on it over this last year. It’s a conversation between my inner child and I. It’s about honoring that moment when you come back together, and making new promises that you intend to keep. There is an obvious theme on this new album and I have been hesitant to share too much, but I hope this one connects with you in those lower levels of your consciousness that we sometimes forget to check in on.

Blockhead and Eliot Lipp return with the first single from their much-anticipated second LP as Lipphead. 'Midnight Brain to Georgia' is the first single taken from the record and serves up an infectious groove that sets the tone for the rest of the album: namely fun, with sounds equally danceable and experimental.

++ Ab 2035 sollen wir nur noch mit Elektroautos auf den Straßen fahren. Verbrenner sollen  nicht mehr verkauft werden dürfen - wurde per politisch festgelegt – ob dies die Menschen nun wollen oder nicht. Bisher hat sich eine Technik allerdings von selbst dann durchgesetzt, wenn sie besser oder billiger war als die alte – ohne Politbeschluss. Daher wird dies wird fürchterlich in die Hose gehen. Das sagt unter anderem Fritz Indra ganz deutlich. Der ist nicht irgendwer, sondern gilt als der Papst der Motorenentwickler. Er hat Zeit seines Lebens Motoren bei Autoherstellern wie Opel entwickelt und dabei immer weiter physikalisch-technische Grenzen ausgelotet. Er ist mit den Gesetzen der Thermodynamik vertraut, kennt das, was einst ein Herr Carnot gesagt hatte und weiss also um die Energieumwandlung und deren Grenzen. ++
