Soulection recently collaborated with Team Supreme (https://soundcloud.com/beatteamsupreme) for their weekly beat cyphers and put out one of the best volumes to date. Soulection Co-founder Joe Kay chose the sample 'Add the Bassline' from the very talented vocalist/producer Jordan Rakei who hopefully puts out a release with Soulection in the coming months. One of our heavy hitters Evil Needle thankfully participated in the beat cypher and created this amazing remix that ended up being so good that he had to extend it from 1 minute to a complete track. We couldn't help but share this track with you and give you an idea of what's to come.

Welcome back! For this week's show we had Low End Theory's very own DJ Nobody in the studio with us. Here we are once again, another heavy hitter session in full effect. Every week we keep digging deeper to try and bring you what we feel is next or what has been forgotten about. In fact it's essential for us to connect the dots on all ends. This movement is a culture to us. It's more than just music. Joe Kay kicked things off with heavy, heavy vibes from many brand new/unheard artists and collectives. The selection in here was really well thought out and analyzed properly so take notes.  

Shouts to Geode and the Chord Marauders who sent over their forthcoming compilation which is simply amazing. Pay attention to these guys, trust. Also look out for Sunni Colòn & Jarreau Vandal. These two artists will be breakthrough artists on Soulection in 2014; guaranteed. We had special guest Dream Koala stop by who is visiting LA for his 1st time all the way from Berlin (current residence but originally from Paris). The young 19 year old threw down a DJ set that included bass and uptempo tribal vibes. In fact, his set was very different from his original production. Dream Koala is very talented and we look forward to see and hear what's to come. Towards the end our good friend Sean O of Sound Waves (KPFK 90.7 FM L.A.) stopped by to promote a very special event going on in L.A. this week.
