For an extended period of time I have been researching the impact of music/sounds and how it can affect the body and our brain. Music is a powerful tool that can either make us feel happy or sad. Everything is energy and vibrations in different wavelengths. We perceive those vibrations either with our eyes, ears, nose, mouth, skin or with our brain. When the frequencies that are produced are vibrating in a harmonious way, they can heal and rejuvenate us.

Our standard tuning system is at 440 hz and our main chromatic scale uses certain ratios that leads us to always getting exposed to 12 notes with the same frequencies which if they were colors would always be the same colors. My intention with “Divine” was to produce music in different tunings while implementing all the knowledge that I have accumulated from my experience as a DJ from House, Underground, Pop, Ethnic and Sacred Sounds. 

Divine Ascension Part 1 is the first step of the transformation of the butterfly from Seed to Caterpillar and it will take you to a internal journey with influences from different cultures.

AlmaD originates from the Spanish words Alma Divino which means Divine Soul. Born and raised in Greece, AlmaD had a genuine interest in music and spirituality from an early age. AlmaD started playing classical piano at the age of 4. A child of divorced working parents, he spent a lot of time with his grandparents and his friends parents all whom introduced him to different perspectives of life. By the age of 7 AlmaD already had a large collection of records and started recording mixtapes and giving them away to his friends. At the same time he was also playing at his friends birthday parties. At the age of 14 AlmaD discovered meditation and it has been an essential part of his life. After finishing high school he studied Graphic Design and Marketing but his passion for music led him to study Audio Engineering and Production. This enabled him to produce his own music. By the age of 25 AlmaD had already worked with several Greek artists as a producer and songwriter before leaving Greece in 2012. Relocating to Sweden to follow his dream as a Pop producer he discovered a new passion in his life. He started organising party nights and Djing which became an instant success. Following recommendations of his friends, he went to Ibiza in 2014 for the first time which changed his life forever. He was introduced to the Underground culture where he saw all the worlds best Djs live. He soon became a resident DJ himself on the island for the next 6 seasons and traveled the world during the winters. It was in 2018 when AlmaD decided to start his own record label, PlayHouse Time Records, where he started releasing his own music influenced by House, Underground, Pop, Ethnic and Sacred sounds. His first EP “Airplane” reached Kiss Fm Australia Top 10 Dance chart for 2 weeks. His subsequent releases have had the support of A’ list DJs from all around the world. In 2020 he relocated to Finland and he decided to start a new project called “Divine”. A research/study on sound and frequencies, designed to radiate Divine Positive Vibes and transform all the people who come in contact with it. Full of Divine Positive Energy, AlmaD is ready to share it with the world.
