Back in February of this year Krystal Klear continued his ‘Labour Of Love’ with a Valentine's Day session in the Subbie basement. Keeping with the general vibe of good people playing good records in fun spaces, they welcomed Paul Nickerson & Francis Englehardt aka Slow To Speak aka the two who run NYC’s infamous Dope Jams record store to the Subbie for the first time.

After our first DSSarkives, a minimalist and intriguing journey, we now dive into another influential set that opened the doors to "world music" and deeper trends, moving away from the conventional dancefloor. Bold choices, but always rewarding.

This time, we share with you a Sunset Set by Gadi Mizrahi (half of the Wolf+Lamb project), recorded on a New York rooftop in mid-2009.

This set is a true soundscape that flows between Deep House and Electroclash, and from the very first listen it allowed us to discover and appreciate new genres and musical textures with crushing force.

Gadi, along with Wolf+Lamb, has been a fundamental part of our musical DNA, deeply shaping the scene and consolidating an unmistakable sound that, between 2010 and 2015, left an indelible mark on us.

We hope you enjoy these 50 minutes as much as we do. A unique set that, like any good DSSarkives, is almost impossible to find online… enjoy the rest of your holidays!
