Januari 2025 will always be the month when we reached the legendary milestone of 100 episodes in our monthly podcast series.

A series that is close to our hearts because we dedicate it to the music that we love so much; Trance

In all of its forms has it been featured in these 1oo episodes. Selected and curated with love by myself, but also by Beute with whom I run (together with Arend as well) Legacy Of Trance Recordings.

But we didn't do it all by ourselfs. Far from it I might say...

We had multiple legends brighten up the series with their appearance.

Because this is what we did. We selected 25 progressive trance tracks, 25 of the biggest trance classics, 25 of the finest Legacy of Trance Recordings releases (which is the part broadcasted on beats2dance) and 25 of the roughest hard and techtrance classics.

All this comes down to over 8 hours of music for you to enjoy!

Ofcourse I have the feeling that I forgot thousands of tracks to put in the mix, but we wanted to do a 100th LOTPOD with 100 tracks. And so we did!

Daniel Skyver - 2010 Nostalgia Revisited 055

Three years ago, around this time of the year I started to take music production more seriously. I met some wonderful people in the scene, and had some great sessions where I learned so many tips and tricks. In 2023 that resulted in my first ever release, together with Magnevi (a.k.a. Julian Del Agranda), on the wonderful Legacy of Trance label. What a moment and milestone. I also worked on some other collabs with an awesome producer (thanks Jack) from Denmark, one of the kindest guys I’ve met, we finished 2 tracks and are also busy with some other tunes! Besides collabs I also want to master mastering myself so I watched many tutorials regarding mastering.

Long story short, this mix contains most of my productions (and some collabs) of the past 3 years. Some fresh tracks, some reworks and an occasional remaster of an old one of myself. Made this mix for my own listening pleasure while on vacation, but it's too nice to keep for myself.

This mix also contains my 2 newest tracks, finished just before my holiday, after years of practising I recently found some kind of mastering mojo, created a kind of template for myself to have all basic sounds always right. Can you guess which tracks these 2 are?
