Founder of Lessenorg, a blog designed to take the challenge to put words on the amazing feelings conveyed by Deep Electronic Music. Coming from House, evolving surely to a more minimalist and dub approach with his Redrop alias, Anthony provides a selection between all time classics, future release on his brand new label Ausblick, oscillating between Deep, Dub, and House with a driving rhythm tainted of emotional lifts.

Inheriting that ‘wonky’ sound which has come to define east midlands club music over the last decade where Kate was raised and what resonates the dynamic bleeps and grooving, glitchy rhythms which occupy the foci of her diverse yet definitive record bag. Kate has seen an exponential rise over recent years via sets at festivals and venues both at home and afar such as Wigflex, The Lion & Lamb, Corsica Studios and securing regular slots with her own party at Tola and Brilliant Corners, then guesting on radio shows such as NTS and Berlin's HÖR. Now working on her own productions and relocating to Europe this winter for more music endeavours whilst remaining active in London.

One Records Podcast 016 - Kate Webb

ANBC is a new collaborative project joining the forces of Bruno Curtis and Alex Neivel, both based in Prague. Meoko is proud to publish their first podcast, a dreamy micro-house progression which does not hold back on experimenting and drives the listener deeper with inventive melodic and harmonic integrations into steady neat beats. ANBC was born as Alex pushed Bruno into diving deeper in the studio. After a lot of after party jams and light night studios sessions they figured out that the compatibility was just there and it made sense to start a collaboration on a brand new project. Since that day they have been producing a lot of music together - in this Meoko exclusive mix you can hear a lot of their own unreleased productions, and we can only be excited considering the quality of the mix and the fact that they might be published sometime soon. Regarding their music influences in therms of style, Bruno comments “we’re very classically orientated, jazz infusion as well, experimental... So we try to bring those components into micro-house and just try to approach it in a way that what doesn’t make sense then starts to make sense”. Closing set at Organik Festival 2019 in Hualien, Taiwan. Last 1,5 hours was a b2b with Diskonnected. 

Picture this: A slow steep drive down through a narrow jungle path, 
the sound of distant ocean waves, frogs, and insects is all you hear until suddenly the jungle opens up and you've arrived at Organik Festival.

Located on a secluded beach on the Taiwan east coast facing the seemingly infinite Pacific with awesome mountain rocks and jungle kneeling to it. A beast of a brand new model Funktion One sound system tuned to perfection and a rare gathering of the most loving and kind people you can imagine. 

This is the spirit of Organik. Nature, quality, peace, and a big coherent mix of dreamy techno, ambient, experimental, house, and disco. Personally have I never experienced a better festival. Was such a pleasure and honour to close the festival on a late Sunday night playing after Dorisburg. I got around different styles and wanted to play a non linear set and instead take people on a journey. I hope you feel some of the festival vibe in the recording.

The last hour and a half my friend and Smoke Machine Taiwan resident joined me in a b2b showing a rare housy side of his palette.

In 1989 Michel Baumann started spinning as a Hip Hop DJ at local jams in the Stuttgart area. In 1991 he became infected with Chicago and Detroit based House music whilst working at a record store. Michel would go on to become the owner of a couple labels himself, namely Philpot-Records and Phil e.

He also records under the alias Soulphiction crafting musical outings with a touch more funk to them, which I'm sure you will know well. Back though to his Jackmate alias and he will soon be dropping a tasty new EP on the freshly minted 18437 Records. This new label is focused on the outer fringes of House and Techno and run by none other than Tooli of Local Talk fame. After teasing everyone with his recent 12" for Matthew Herbert's Accidental label, Jackmate is in full swing here. He also does Workshops for production and mixing, online and one on one slots, just send a PM him if interested!

British DJ, music producer and resident of Tbilisi's @khidi club. @harrisonbdp has helped to lay down the foundation for a sound that’s low on frills but high on emotion through its superb utilization of classic techniques and poignant vocal sampling. Harrison BDP is one of the brightest among the new crop of young people emerging in house music. With his sound touching on warm house to tougher, jackin’ cuts, the Cardiff based producer has risen to prominence in the past couple of years thanks to his prolific and consistently solid output. Such experiences are leading to a constant evolution in his musical depth and have bolstered his ability to comfortably combine trippy with techy, dreamy with drummy, heady with house.
