Mix 01 keeps things light and groovy, coasting along the somewhat relaxed end of the spectrum of what's to come.

Planet P 001 - Aly P

For my first guest on the Plant P mix series, I am proud to present Ozzy with his Halloween Inspired mix aptly titled "Spooky Season".

With a passion for electronic music spanning well over a decade and a deep love for the underground scene, Ozzy first learned to DJ in his mates loft back in 2016. Their firm set up a party in Liverpool back in 2019 where they brought the likes of Mihigh and Gescu to the city for some belter parties. Ozzy then went on to co-create the Off:peaK parties which some of you might know and love.

Ozzy serves up a collection of deadly and eerie sounds on this well put together guest mix, so listen, enjoy and share if you are diggin it. 

Oh, and you might want to sleep with the lights on tonight!

Planet P 002 - Ozzy - Guest Mix

For our next guest mix I am buzzing to present local talent Ellie Jennings. Ellie has a long standing passion for dance music of all kinds with her favourite genres being electronic, underground, early house and italo.

During the covid lockdown whilst others learned how to bake banana bread  Ellie bought her first set of decks and finally taught herself how to mix, which had been a long time coming. 

Ellie has been playing events around the city for a year or so and is a resident artist for local party, Cackle, they offer a platform for homegrown talent and have welcomed legends like Ian Pooley, and A Guy Called Gerald.

This mix is nothing short of greatness, it gives an electro sci fi feel with some creepy ass vocals, (which we LOVE). Are you ready for lift off?

Planet P 003 - Ellie Jennings - Guest Mix

Kicking off 2025 with Planet P #5, is Jade Edwards under her new alias, Nephrite. 

DJing for over 3 years, Jade’s connection to music runs deep, influenced by her music-loving parents and her early years as a dancer. When relocating to Manchester for uni, music became her escape—an outlet to let loose and break away from the stress. It was during this time she taught herself how to DJ, using the craft as a form of creative release and personal therapy.

She shared her journey on Instagram and soon enough landed her first two bookings at Everybody Dance and 24 Kitchen Street.
Jade has continued to flourish on the scene, securing a number of shows in Liverpool & beyond and major gigs like Creamfields, Moxy Muzik, and Cross The Tracks. Now, under the name Nephrite, she’s diving deeper into underground sounds, this mix delivers sexy, groovy, and alluring beats for all to enjoy.

Planet P 005 - Nephrite - Guest Mix

Guest mix 004 comes from the incredibly talented Pea, a self-taught artist whose musical journey began at a young age. After spending countless hours immersing herself in DJ sets on YouTube at the age of 9, dreaming of it being her one day. In 2019, she made that dream a reality, diving into the world of mixing and experimenting with house and techno. By 2023, Pea had honed her distinct sound, blending electro, house, deep house, and minimal tech—genres that fuel her love for all things bumpy and energetic and drawing inspiration from the likes of Annie Errez, Peach, and the queen herself, Jane Fitz! 
A career highlight was playing at Zoo Project Liverpool with her bestie Nina, where she performed to her largest crowd to date. She’s also had the privilege of playing alongside local legends Jimmy Allan and Matt Walsh at Bar Bodega, where she held a residency before launching her own weekly parties there in 2024.
This mix is a perfect showcase of Pea’s talent and exciting musical taste. We’re thrilled to have her join Ellie Jennings for our International Women’s Day celebration on March 8th at Metrocola, not to be missed!

Planet P 004 - PEA - Guest Mix

For this edition of the Planet P mix series, we welcome Marta, a Lisbon-based DJ with deep roots in the dancefloor. Her love affair with electronic music began back in the ’90s, when the rhythms and sounds of house and techno first pulled her in, a connection that’s stayed strong ever since.

Having spent years as a devoted dancer and digger, Marta’s journey behind the decks is a natural evolution of her passion. She made her debut in 2023 with Lisbon’s GROOVE POINT crew and since then the opportunities continued to flood in, her presence and selections reflect genuine understanding of a good time!

I witnessed Marta in full flow during an all night long set at Ministerium Club in November 2024 – a powerful, energetic set that had the dancers locked in from start to finish. Marta explores house and techno in all their forms, with a fluid, instinctive style that reflects her years spent on the floor.
