The latest release on Madloch's Crossfade Sounds ushers in 2026 with Cloud Layers EP, marking the sixth outing on the label from Ukrainian producer Toishy Koshimi. As a familiar and trusted name within the Crossfade Sounds catalogue, Koshimi has steadily shaped a relationship with the imprint defined by consistency, restraint, and a clear artistic voice rooted in deep, atmospheric techno.

Hailing from Ukraine, Toishy Koshimi's journey on the label reflects a gradual refinement of sound rather than abrupt reinvention. Across his previous releases for Crossfade Sounds, he has leaned into subtle groove mechanics, spacious arrangements, and a muted emotional palette that favors longevity over immediacy. Each appearance has built on the last, positioning him as one of the label's quietly evolving contributors, attentive to detail and patient in execution.

Cloud Layers EP continues this trajectory with five original productions that balance movement and mood in equal measure. The title track sets the tone with a gentle, rolling foundation, while Binary Flow and Filter Sweep explore shifting rhythmic patterns and understated tension. Cold Stream deepens the atmosphere with a cooler, more introspective edge, before Feedback Loop closes the release on a hypnotic, inward-facing note.
