lungs like pneumonia percolating inside of me
Drown violently, you're capturing a martyr
Trying to survive, climbing ladders made of water
Does it matter when it's over? No.
The more that I know, the ice forms on my shoulder bones
Seeing life in a monotone monochrome haiku
Trying to stop fires with an ice cube

If I had a way to stop this...
I don't think that I would want it....
What's the point of even living when you're happy all the time
never capturing the feeling of a lost kiss..
You'll never know the euphoria you gather.. or the compliment
of suffering, the opposite of laughter..
The monument of joyful bliss..
perched upon the sword of inequity.. the memories of a small kid...
Who was tortured.. set aside to die
but fueled himself with the identity he memorized.

but you can't choose separate colors from a spectrum..
I endure.. I realize that I'm a mess..
and I hope you can see the treasure inside my chest
all the pressure that I'm hiding underneath
deciding what to be... with my eyes upon a sheet..
I just write for a release. Looking at the ink dry
I see the sunset in your eyes..
Gazing at the pink sky... wondering why
you choose to hide, behind a ruse glued to suicide..
I got your picture that I keep on the shelf..
I said my heart had scars, you had to see for yourself..
I'm alone...  feeling pathetic.. wake up...
Bathe in acid to wash away my genetic makeup...

If I had a way to stop this...
I don't think that I would want it....
I would rather disappear in a cavern
and let my sorrow black out like putting tears inside a lantern
My depression is my only friend
It's known me from the beginning when I had no pens
No words, no music, and no end
to the pain that's crushing me til my soul bends...
So I guess I feel obligated to keep it..
an honest statement, I got to say it's a secret..
Who the fuck would even understand it?
that I love the madness? I love the glum of a sunken sadness
I'm a victim of my own self mutilation
And there's nothing that anybody can do to save him
He's unusual.. brutal.. beautiful.. moody.. patient..
And there's nothing that anybody can do to save this..
