Unusual signal on 5340 khz, observed on 25 Jun 2016 at 13:30 utc  Has a somewhat wide bandwidth, extends from 5320 khz to 5350 khz. Signal strength is amazingly strong in Alaska despite the current poor atmospheric propagation conditions. Has a periodic fade, obviously being at least one hop via the ionosphere. Suspected origin of the radio emission at this time is from the Aleutian Chain.
