Eerik Vilk:
Eerik Vilk is a music enthusiast from Tallinn, Estonia, whose musical taste has been strongly influenced by dub and dancehall music, which he grew up with in the 90s. In the 2000s, he performed at jungle and drum and bass raves under the artist name MC Sonic. A little later, he discovered techno and dub techno music, which inspired him to create his own mixtapes on SoundCloud and YouTube. Recently, he has started producing dub techno music to find his own unique sound. An album from Eerik is expected this year on the [PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] label.

１７歳からDJのキャリアをスタート。東京を拠点に活動。２００７年活動の拠点を東京からドイツ、ベルリンに移し、ヨーロッパでの活動を始める。同時期にAlphahouse,Level rec,Sud Electronic,etc..ヨーロッパ、アメリカのminimal labelから１２incをリリース。その後２０１３年にルーマニアのレーベルTe LubescからRensa EPとロシアのレーベルGrow vinylからDub wise noise EPをリリース。そして２０１４年自身のレーベルNote recordsを立ち上げリミキサーにルーマニアのSEPPを迎え、自信のEPをリリース。その後２０１６年の現在に至まで、数々のVAに参加したり、自信のEPをリリースし続けている。現在もベルリンを活動の拠点としてワールドワイドにライブ活動と制作を行っている。

自宅のスタジオで録音しました。


-コンセプトがあれば教えてください。

今回はルーマニアのfestival用に組んだlive setで普段より少しダンスを意識してるのと少し派手になってます。



-最近の活動を教えてください。

最近はlive setを今までとは違う方法で出来ないかと色々試しています。それとこの前作り終わったのですが今年の冬あたりにルーマニアのレーベルTupiar recordsから僕の新しいEPがリリースされます。
