That time I quietly escaped to Paris for a weekend of alone time to heal and I immediately hooked up with an alleged Moulin Rouge cabaret girl. Alleged because she never leaves my side all weekend and never went to work which is suspicious. The problem is she was a raging Absinthe alcoholic and drug addict and I indulged heavily. I thought it was real love and we could get married and I would live with Paris in Paris forever. Only to wake up in my hotel room Monday morning to catch my fight home, never having alone time to heal, she isn't there, all my money is gone, and I never got her phone number and can't remember her name because I thought it was funny calling her "Paris" all weekend. So, I am stuck in transit flying home for 12 hours with a serious weekend long hangover from drugs and alcohol only to find out later the only gift she gave me was a case of herpes. 

I miss my Paris.
