Who am I

A stripped-down, heartfelt reinterpretation of Wake Me Up — performed as an acoustic ballad with only voice and guitar. This version offers a slower, more emotional take on the original, focusing on the lyrics and letting the melody breathe.

Recorded simply and honestly, this is my personal tribute to a song that has meant a lot to me over the years.

“Kom hem” var så gott som färdigproducerad när en ominstallation av Windows plötsligt raderade alla filer. Låten hann aldrig mixas färdigt eller mastras, och allt arbete försvann innan den kunde göras helt klar.

Versionen du hör här är därför en ofullständig förmix, som saknar både balans och det sista lyftet i ljudbilden. Den representerar inte den färdiga produktion jag hade tänkt mig – men jag delar den ändå, eftersom låten betyder mycket för mig. Jag hoppas att den ändå berör, trots bristerna i ljudet.

Note:
“Kom hem” (“Come Home”) was very close to being fully completed when an unexpected system reinstall caused the entire project to be lost — all session files vanished before the final mix and mastering could be done.

What you're hearing here is a rough pre-final version, lacking proper balance, depth, and polish. The overall sound is therefore unrefined and does not represent the intended final production. Still, I’ve chosen to share it as-is, because the song itself means a lot to me, and I hope it will still speak to you despite its imperfections.

This track is my enhanced version of a film score theme I worked on. The original was beautiful in its simplicity, but I saw space for more – subtle guitars, layered textures, and depth.
