In A World Of My Own (Remix)

This is my portfolio of self-released music.  Every track was written/composed/produced by myself, co-produced and mixed by Kyle Griffin at Artisans Label Studios, and mastered at Capital Records.

The first four songs represent a more "Alternative" Hip Hop/R&B genre (Rock Bottom, Heartbreaker, Crawl Back, & An Introduction).

The second set of four songs represent a more "Club-Scene Targeted" Hip Hop/Rap genre (Stank Ass Ho, 'Til Your Legs Shake, Bitchin' and Groanin', & Tyrant).

The last five songs are from my previous release, "Manic," and represent a more Hard Rock/Metal genre.

An Introduction

Spawned from the sun-bleached streets of Orange County, CA, singer/songwriter Alex Helton delivers anything but sun-bleached music.  That's not to say he doesn't make "feel good" music.  It "feels good" the way punching your enemy square in the jaw feels good.  It "feels good" the way slamming your body in a mosh pit feels good.

Cathartic and catchy, he imbues a sense of desperation into his music using heavy beats, grating vocals, and melodies that will haunt you for days.  To hear these songs is to come face to face with another person's pain, to bathe in it, and to come out the other side cleaner and raring for action.

Full of energy, steeped in powerful language, and glued together with rage, "Manic" will move you from start to finish.  This is a first glimpse into the mind of a musical mad man, and you won't want to miss it.
