Alex Humphries interviews rising star Lewis Watson in Hebden Bridge, as he sets up for a gig on his second headline tour.

Originally from Oxford, Lewis released his first EP, "It's Got Four Sad Songs On It BTW", whilst still at college, topping the iTunes singer-songwriter chart on the first day of release and outselling the likes of Adele, Madonna and Ed Sheeran in the process. As a result of this Lewis was signed by Warner and has since release two more EP's and is about to release another, has completed one headline tour, and is currently on another, AND he's supported Birdy in the Sydney Opera House.

Alex Humphries meets Lewis Watson

Alex Humphries is an up-and-coming, passionate and enthusiastic 21 year old Radio Presenter, Producer and Broadcast Journalist, originally from Witney, West Oxfordshire.  He's had voluntary experience with Banbury's hospital station Radio Horton, as well as experience with commercial stations JackFM Oxfordshire, Banbury Sound and Real Radio Yorkshire.  He is currently in his third and final year at the University of Huddersfield, where he is studying Broadcast Journalism, and is currently Station Manager and Breakfast presenter at Radio Hud, the student radio station for the university.
