Christmas is the time of the year where everybody steps back a little bit, thinks about what’s important in life and gives away some nice gifts for the people who are important for him or her. 
I do what I can do best  - Music - and give you my Christmas in Bed- Mix of 2015, I started this little tradition last Year and hopefully it will last for longtime.
Words cannot describe how thankful i am for everything i can experience - so I let the music play instead of talking more.

DESCRIPTION Cerious and Rakontur are two DJ's and producers from The Netherlands. They got in touch with eachother, because they shared the same love for music. In the beginning of 2016 they started making tracks together, whereof 'Aliquam' and 'Ventus' are their best outcomes. Both tracks have an euphoric and melodic break with a slightly minimal drop. Where 'Aliquam' (Latin for tour) takes you on a journey, 'Ventus' (Latin for wind) blows you away.

If you’re looking for hard hitting, straightforward Techno action, you probably know by now that Kuukou Records doesn’t fail to deliver. Setting the tone is label chief Simina Grigoriu who signs release #11, a tension-driven deep tech exploration made up of one original and two weighty remixes.

The mood is set from the get go - eerie chants, a dark textured bassline and sharp stabs create a late night chamber atmosphere. Winding rhythms soon follow, creating an utterly magnetic soundwave  in a sonic surrounding that’s fit for peak time. 
Live techno master Torsten Kanzler puts his studio chops into play for a spellbinding rearrangement of the title track. The initial ghostly sample get elongated, the vocal bit distorted in a remake that amplifies the darkness factor, while minimizing the punchy elements. 

Cosmic Boys rendition of "Ace Killer" is surreal and solemn with grave accents, aptly showing off the producers’ attention to details. A zig-zagging main synth reigns movement and mystery throughout the entire cut, on a backbone of downplayed percussion pads. 

All in all, three cavernous Techno tracks that are brushed and sharpened for the prime hours of the night, with differing degrees of afterhour versatility.

French label Sweet Musique is about to release two various artists compilations – 'Day Tales' and its counterpart 'Night Tales' - to close its successful year. Both compilations unite a wide spectrum of electronic music's sub-genres as well as artists, who either have released on the label or make their debut. One artist, whose year has been as successful as the label's as he released several well-received EPs, tracks and remixes on renowned labels such as Exit Strategy, Multinotes or MoBlack is Santiago Garcia, who contributes two tracks, 'Wait A Minute' and 'Apes On Mars', to both of the compilations. 'Apes On Mars', already gaining heavy support from Innervision artists, musically represents what the track title suggests: the arrangement of synths create mystically influenced moments in outer space as if a Santiago was a space connoisseur exploring the musical boundaries on Mars and sending the results back to worldwide dancefloors. 'Apes On Mars' certainly manages to emphasize the science fiction moments as – by now – is commonly know that the artist himself has a preference for the genre.
