In Buddhism, the Sanskrit term samskara is used to describe "mental formations," "will," and many other concepts; in Pāli it is referred to as saṅkhāra.

According to various schools of Indian philosophy, every action, intent or preparation by an individual leaves a samskara (impression, impact, imprint) in the deeper structure of the person's mind. These impressions then await volitional fruition in that individual's future, in the form of hidden expectations, circumstances or a subconscious sense of self-worth. These Samskaras manifest as tendencies, karmic impulses, subliminal impressions, habitual potencies or innate dispositions.

Milk & Honey suggests abundance, but also the longing for it. It traces the quiet aftershock of feeling, when softness meets weight, when sweetness carries memory. There is comfort here, but it arrives layered and uncertain.
On the title track, that complexity comes into focus through Enya’s beautiful vocal performance. Her instrument-like intonation holds the tension with grace, drifting through the piece like light slipping through fractured glass: fragmented, luminous, intimate. The result is not resolution, but resonance, a moment suspended between healing and remembering.

Just as Xivi, Raru is the hindu demon followed by a tiger that also tries to voraciously swallow the stars, causing the eclipses. Like these, countless ancestral myths around the world explain this phenomenon; for the Pomo people there is a fight between the Bear and the Sun, and for the Tlingit it is the moment of stealthy darkness for the Moon and the Sun to love each other.
