Spanish/American artist Alexa Dark lives up to her name with her genre-defying dark sound that merges cinematic grandeur, evocative lyricism, and haunting vocals. Influenced by artists from Nancy Sinatra to Portishead, as well as the cinema of French New Wave and Old Hollywood noir, her music mirrors her multicultural upbringing across London, Barcelona, and New York City. Starting her journey on London stages as a teenager, Alexa began crafting a retro, Bond-esque world that has since garnered a growing cult following online. Her debut EP, Dark, Vol. I—praised by SPIN, Earmilk, and more—blends vintage glamour with modern production. Alexa embodies the essence of the modern femme fatale, captivating audiences with her distinct style and sound.
