Isaac Soto’s new EP “Marmol” is out in all digital stores!

The EP, consisting of 4 tracks, is a unique mash-up of classical and contemporary compositions, contrasting organic sounds with synthetic textures; employing samples, powerful bass lines, catchy instrumental tunes and laid back vocals.

The first track, Campo Minado is an ever-expanding musical fractal with Isaac’s piano guiding through his maze of layered structures, enhanced with muted guitars. The underlying bass line moves the listener, as they evolve into high pitched sounds creating a sci-fi atmosphere midway through the track while the synth sounds at the end prepare the ground for the next track.

Cristal starts where Campo Minado left off, expanding the soundscape even more with its organ sounds reminiscent of Baroque pieces. The electronic sounds swiftly caress the ears while Sato builds the tension in the track, creating a sense of scale. 

The tension of Cristal comes to a resolution in the last track, Quena. The triangle of flute, vocals, and the gentle tapping sounds create an airy atmosphere, before reaching the climactic bass-heavy part. The gentle taps give way to heavy steps of bass, the spaciousness of the flute morphs into a longing cry and Sato’s ever-present piano shows itself for one last time to close the EP. 

The artwork of the EP, showing a chemical reaction between vitamins, emphasizes the combination of organic and man-made, vivifying Sato’s audial language.

We met @mellowtact from New Zealand last year at the "Friends From Around The World Festival" and asked him to enrich our podcast series with one of his very own mixes. And that's what he did! This EP blends together Dutch poetry and spoken word with electronic music. 
Vocalist/songwriter SpaceAgePoetry aka Justin Samgar has collaborated with 4 super talented producers - Olaf Stuut, Trippin Jaguar, Thommie G and GRÜN GLAS. Together they have created a psychedelic experience of 5 tracks full of spoken word, mantras and electronic music.
SpaceAgePoetry's sign is the Serpent Bearer (Ophiuchus), the thirteenth sign from the zodiac, used in Vedic astrology. The Serpent Bearer is a shaman, a connector of worlds. He carries a snake (aesculapian) with him to heal humanity, delivering a message of freedom and authenticity.
