Moving slowly underwater by night,
the solitary Hexapus dreams of a conversation. A feeling of safety amongst likeminded beings. 

There are dangerous traps out there, but Hexapus camouflages its tentacles under a coral to seek shelter. Rising from below at dawn, stranger than fiction, this sea animal has 9 brains and 3 hearts. 

Gray, brown, pink, blue, or green the six limbed mollusc blends in these colours with its surroundings to remain unseen. Maybe that is also a reason for its loneliness?

Label multicolore et organique basé à Paris, Curuba revient avec sa troisième compilation, fruit des rencontres avec la vingtaine d'artistes invités lors de leur série d’événements "Héliotropisme".  Né de la volonté de faire rayonner la scène downtempo/folktronica internationale à Paris, ces événements tenus dans différents lieux alternatifs de la capitale et sa banlieue (Halle Papin, Station E, Grands Voisins, Hasard Ludique) ont été l'occasion de mettre en avant certain·e·s des artistes qui nous inspirent le plus. Chacun de ces musicien·ne·s, à sa manière, mélange rythmes transcontinentaux, textures organiques et synthétiseurs éthérés.
De Buenos Aires à Berlin, de Rio à Paris, Héliotropisme a été un moment fort, marqué par des échanges enrichissants et le début de nombreuses amitiés.  De ces souvenirs, 20 morceaux sont nés, répartis en deux volumes d'une compilation. Pour fêter la sortie de la compilation, Curuba prend le contrôle du Mellotron de 21h à minuit!
