Release Info: Sleazy Deep’s new look can’t go unmissed, but our sound is also changing. Keeping things fresh and moving with the times but seriously sticking to our no nonsense, quality deep house & nu disco with raw underground funk and attitude. Vocals have always been a strong point and we’re going to be slipping in more & more cutting edge, futuristic cuts along with our known Sleazy Deep sound… So watch this space as we introduce modern turns in house music to our releases and signings, whether that’s darker late night moves or sonic future bass sh!t we’ve got the dancefloor covered across Sleazy Deep & Sleazy G whatever time of night (or day) it is! The first representing this “new” sound for us is Umut Akalin with his Smoke Machines & Laser Rays EP, this is the perfect choice as the EP represents exactly what we’re talking about. Title track Smoke Machines & La ser Rays is the perfect mix of Nu Disco, Deep House Bass & Garage. Bumping along with it’s high end zaps, lush key changes, pads, strings and a killer vocal which for us stinks of summer nights dancing in hazed out smokey rooms. Next up is Umut’s first single with us from our Future Sleaze series Forever You & Me. This track is such an amazing piece, pure musicality and deep throbbin’ sexiness. The amazing vocals will truly take you away with it’s love story and instant flowing hypnotic synths. Sleazy Deep artists Saccao & Lou Van decided to team up next for their remix of Smoke Machines & Laser Rays. Taking a sexier & nu skool turn with its lush guitar licks, smooth bass and sleazy deep feel. Marco Tegui is a name popping up on many labels now, his deep house sound is catching the attention of many and it’s not surprising why, deep & sophisticated house music at it’s finest. His first r emix for us is Forever You & Me taking a much deeper club approach to the original with it’s heavy hitting bass, pianos and keys keeping the mood just right for the vocals. Tamer Akgul steps in for Smoke Machines & Laser Rays next with his big bass & nu disco deep edge providing another perfect version of a great track. Back to Forever You & Me and the HUGE talents of our Sleazy G main man, Vanilla Ace! Expect a UK bass house vibe this time around perfect for the modern floors of today. Marco’s back now taking Smoke Machines & Laser Rays into Tegui’s deeper world of house. Big phat bass and organs riding along lush strings to accompany the vocal perfectly. We’re maturing, keeping it fresh and as always, providing quality house music for your weekend’s maneuvers. This is ESSENTIAL!!!

Four years after the last Console release “Mono” it’s time for some new vivid life signs of the famous Weilheim based collective. This time the new album titled “Herself” is a bit more of a solo attempt. Due to mastermind Martin Gretschmann’s always packed calendar it’s no surprise that first drafts of „Herself“ came to life on his laptop whilst on tour with The Notwist. The final recordings then took place in his studio together with singer Miriam Osterrieder and a bunch of electronic toys.

Our favourite west coast space rock band "Woolfy vs. Projections", or "the Hall and Oates of the dance world" (XLR8R) are back for good. "Set Me Loose" is the first single from their 2012 album "The Return Of Love" , which with its proper songwriting, dreamy atmosphere and psychedelic character became an essential listening delight for all kind of Balearic types over the past summer. "Set Me Loose" is the perfect example for W vs. P unique blend of electronic and acoustic instrumentation and the natural haziness that lives in their music. This makes it a perfect match for Swiss legend Lexx (you have to check out his contribution to the ' originals ' series on Claremont 56), who offers the first remix here. Lexx does what Lexx does best adding a good portion of Excotica, tropical drumming and a certain dubbyness to the original making it a winner on the late night floor. 

The Drifter, who had a busy year with setting up his own label Maeve, which he runs with his lads Mano Le Tough and Baikal and with releasing his debut ep on Permanent Vacation in late 2012, comes correct with a hypno house version of "Set Me Loose". He leaves out most of the original's Balearic feeling and adds a punchy kick and an acidy bassline to get it in shape for the more housy floors. 

Last but not least in this delicate triumvirate of remixes is El_Txef_A from Bilbao, Spain. Aitor Etxebarria turned quite some heads with his last year's debut album "slow dancing in a burning room" and the mixture of contemporary club music and classic pop elements. He stays close to the original, stripping it down to the basic elements of the groove and the vocals before half way through of the remix an arpeggiated synth appears and introduces the 4/4 bass drum for the second half.
