There are many special things about this one. it has an extremly melodic approach, it is in 5/4, there are so many sounds in it. at the beginning i use a duesenberg jazz guitar. at the end it is a les paul kind of guitar with active pickups. there you have some 80ies metal, while the rest of the song has some jazzy vibes, with beat

Twentyfive

When I heard the news about the terrorist attack in the very heart of Vienna on the 2nd of November, I was in the studio recording this tune. It was so devastating and from this moment on its meaning and dedication changed. 
A fiew days later we walked from our home that lies in the outskirts of Vienna to the first district to light a candle, where this senseless murders happend. On our way we took this peaceful and beautiful impressions of our hometown and witnessed the solidarity and the deep wish not to break apart. Alexander's Theme - Tribute to the victims of the 2nd of November

Through the covid crisis we couldn't meet and jam along. So I asked some friends and fellow musicians to send me a solo over my backingtrack. No rules, no specifications - I told them just to play, what they want to.
I am so happy with what came out. Every solo is different and all fit perfectly. It is an honour for me that all this awesome musicians joined me. And I am so proud that even my son played a solo. This makes it even more special for me.
So please let us know, what part you like most and wich style we should try next - maybe some blues, maybe some metal?
