one of spark´s first tunes from around 2001. listen closely and u might hear uncle nusrat fateh ali khan in there.... or not ? birds recorded live in badRam´s backyard. great dramatic melotron style keys & some acoustic guitar work by him, too. some cümbüs saz by shazam added after an istanbul trip. this is the downbeat version of the tune, we also have one which is more in yr face, look out right here!

Bukhara Gardens

a tune that went thru a lot of changes along the way. we still love to play it, especially live :)
this version has not been released yet and is only waiting for the next d&b revival, when everybody´s yawning about slow beats. note the build up 6/8 section in the center of the tune.

on most occasions, spark dig this bassy version more tho :D  

spark approached this remix in the spring of 2003 for berlin world music label piranha records. since then balkan beats have been exploding all over the place and around 2005 we lost interest in this polka party stuff. we dig art more. and bass too :) nevertheless, if u like it, do give us a thumbs up or something here..
