A Secret Place

The image used is a guitar player figure made by a Vietnamese craft person out of old tools. My Dad brought this back from there after returning from a job  in Vietnam years ago.

The song peruses a future where we may use frequency and resonance more for physically healing the body and mind.

It was composed by Roberto B on 22 September 2024 in MAGIX (initial composition, recording, arrangement and mix), Alex M on 13 December 2024 in Logic Pro using Akai MPK keyboard input (subsequent composition, recording, arrangement and mix), and Roberto B on 16 December 2024 in MAGIX (final composition, integration of the voice sample from MAGIX - with our thanks, additions, arrangements, recording and mix), and released here on SoundCloud today about noon (in Europe), 31 December 2024. I have always admired music, of diverse styles. Like most of us, I have tried learning to play a few instruments at a basic level in my teenage. But it is only now, in the 21st century, that modern software allows anyone to fool around being the composer, the designer of a whole composition, simpler or more complex, organising together the parts of the various instruments - and to hear the results of this experimentation or inspiration instantly! That is how I have recently begun enjoying the distraction of attempts at composing during my leisure, discovering an amazing dimension of life, and art, perhaps the most intangible, heightening and hypnotising one, and the closest to the soul...
