This set consists of 11 tracks (apart from the intro) I lately produced but didnt find use for in my current livesets. 
Tempo remains quite slow, ranging from 109 to 110 bpm.
Most of the sounds are cross-cultural, influenced by indian, arabic, african or latin-american music.

This set is mostly created with sounds collected from all over the world, in order to add an ethnic feeling to my livesets. 
I did not take time to focus on details or shape the sound too much, so most tracks are yet unfinished and it has a very spontaneous vibe to me. 
Thus I rather consider the set as a "preview" of what might come out soon. Still decided to upload it though, to challenge my terrible lack of musical output;)

Rabbit Hole............Metaphor for the conceptual path which is thought to lead to the true nature of reality. Infinitesimally deep and complex.
Taking hallucinogenic drugs can be considered "tripping" down the rabbit hole, but it is also explored through philosophical and existential thinking.

Dear friends,
After a long time of hibernation it is time to reappear on the surface of the internet, I guess.
As many of you have been asking, I made a recording that continues the story of my „Travel Diary“, which started over two years ago.
So I am very happy to finally share „Travel Diary Part 2“ with you today!
It consists of tracks I produced over the course of this time, but never released or even used them for live playing. So now I am taking the opportunity to let them „out of the box“.
I really hope you enjoy it and to catch some of you at one of my upcoming summer shows!

Also I wanna take the chance to thank you all so much for your support over the past year, even though I had no musical output! 
It reminds me of the famous words by the poet Hafez, who said:

-  Even after all this time, the sun never says to the earth “you owe me“.

Travel Diary (Part 2) by  JAVID  *Liveset*

It all began right there on the playa, six years ago under the rays of the morning sun, immersed in the magic of the beautiful Robot Heart sound stage.  A community so powerful and strong, it has become the biggest inspiration for my own musical journey. The people I met, the music I heard and the feelings I had that first night have left a lasting impression and inspired me to learn a new skill and start playing and producing music.

In the modern world, traveling around the world, making countless acquaintances we get lost in this endless whirlpool of activity. We start seeking a sense of belonging, experiences that unite us and inspire to create. This is what Robot Heart does for many of us, whether you come here to dance, play or connect. 

My own experience led me to start experimenting with sound and styles, curating artists that would join us on the playa for a week and become family for life.  We grew into a amazing community, which we call White Ocean, united by our love and passion for creativity and exploration. There is nothing more inspiring for me at the moment than seeing how music can improve our lives and open our minds to new adventures and experiences. It did it for me......

It has been the greatest honor to come back to where it all started and play my set for Robot Heart's 10 year anniversary on the playa. I wish your journey to continue for my years to come:)

Eclectic Psychedelia Vol 2

Hey everyone, here is my take on The Glitch Mob's track "How Could This Be Wrong". 

I've been listening to TGM for a while and I like the fact that it's one of the rare project that is popular yet not actually cheesy or another corporate copy in a famous genre, and rather produced like a band.

This remix is a bit more pop than my usual sound, but I enjoyed working on it nonetheless, hope you'll like it :)
