Cathal O'Briain enjoys writing original contemporary ballads. He sings and plays fingerstyle acoustic guitar, drawing upon aspects of human nature, history, and current international events in his songs.

His album Self-Determination is a body of work from his collaboration with legendary Producer Peter Eades who has worked with some of Ireland’s top acts such as Clannad, The Chieftains, Thin Lizzy, The Dubliners, Moving Hearts and De Danann.

Hi, I'm Shaun from North East UK. VARISONIK isn't a band but a solo project that began in early 2022. Back then I had a strong desire to create my own style of alt-rock and alt-pop songs, and found the freedom of going alone is a bonus for creating new songs, as I get to write, compose, play instruments, and produce all of my music and promo videos, which is a lot of work at times but I love doing it. Raised in a small village on the west coast of Scotland, Neil is blending his love of hard rock with his roots in Scottish acoustic music. At the age of 13 after his first live show he realised that music is the only career he wanted to pursue, so focusing on learning guitar and writing songs he progressed and started to put bands together to perform in his local area. After years of performing locally he decided to apply for college to study music in 2012, and in doing so formed his band Corrupt The System who went on to gig across the UK at various venues and festivals, primarily in Glasgow and released their first studio album titled Game Over in 2016, and a handful of singles in 2018, Neil also played guitar in the rock band Take Today also performing around the UK at many various venues. In early 2020 they released the EP Visions. Since mid-2020 Neil has focused on writing and recording his own music and started a YouTube channel compiled of acoustic covers that has gained a reasonable following so far. He has recently recorded a new single called Skylines which was released mid November 2024 with more music in the pipeline and is looking to progress and expand his audience as a solo artist.
