The Funktion Cast 005 – L.P. Rhythm

Recorded live at our March show at The Cause, this special edition of The Funktion Cast features one of our favourite rising stars, and close friend, L.P. Rhythm.

For his set, we hear L.P. Playing something many weren’t expecting, a nice distinct blend of house, garage, as well as his own signature flavour, L.P. steps into a rare role: the headliner on warm-up duties. A true masterclass in restraint, groove, and atmosphere; proving the warm-up is still an artform in the right hands.

For one night under the stars, DXNBY brought his high octane, full flavour house and UK garage to [UNVRS] on 27th August. The British DJ joined Jamie Jones’ Wednesday night Paradise residency and this forward-thinking set made waves in the Wild Comet. A set that further establishes this rising artist as a player in the international scene.
