This is the soundtrack for the contemporary dance piece SQ by Ali Heffetz, initially performed at Eschschloraque Rümschrümp, Berlin on 18.11.06.

Consisting of five parts (or "rooms"), which were interwoven for the performance, it spans 25 minutes of exploration and introspect.

Set in a sonic forest somewhere between the Amazon jungle and the immense Northern Swedish woods, Bäcken embarks on a wistful musical hike through sentimental and groovy landscapes. As the first track of the new EP Töcken, it invites you to sway along to slowly evolving beats and moods on its envoy into electronic nature.

Here's a microbelter to stir up your Sunday stew, giving a taste of what's cooking in the rural techno kitchen. Being a shorter edit, this brew of deep drums, woody samples and airy strings will present itself in a slightly grander form on my next release.

This was produced for Linda Nurk and Jonas Johansson's exhibit Osmos Kosmos, displayed at London Design Festival 2019, and especially for the catwalk that Linda's grown (and even growing), eerie and mesmerising clothes were shown at.
