Founded by Nick Curly & Gorge in 2005 as a home to their own style of music, 8bit Records went on to become a platform for young artists and a pillar of the Electronic Music Scene. The labels philosophy is as simple as it is demanding: Focus on strong original tracks made for the club without representing remixers.
This philosophy of endurement is also visible in the labels choice still to press most releases on vinyl. Part 1 of 10yrs 8bit V.A. brings together a great mix of artists with styles varying from Tech House to Techno, all original all club proof - just quality music.

Here we go again with the third single release of Danny Serranos album „Transitions“, containing two original album tracks and the corresponding remixes:

„Blue Like Sky Of My Paradise feat. Odille“ is a very smooth and laid back song with in a warm summer feeling like mood. Odilles vocals fit excellent into the bed of synth string harmonies, which floats into a catchy guitar melody.

With „Rafting In Kayak“ Danny shows his darker side of producing dance floor orientated music, with strangely pitched vocals as a weird and electroid atmosphere of this stomping tech house track and a break down which ends with a hands up impact.

The first remix of „Blue Like Sky Of My Paradise“ is made by Christian Nielsen, who changed the original song to a clubby tech house bomb. You get caught by the hypnotic vocal loops of Odilles singing in combination with his swinging beats.

Last but not least Alexander Aurel made a bass heavy interpretation of „Rafting In Kayak“ which is much darker than the original, but still a must for techno DJs. The name of his remix „There Is Acid On My Ship“ implies bass synth filter moves, which are going to set all dance floors on fire!

"Vor zwölf Jahren habe ich Franky bei einem Gig im Airport kennengelernt“, erinnert sich @alexanderaurel, der damals in Würzburg auflegte und so zum ersten Mal in Kontakt mit dem Künstler kam.
