Our second podcast is well worth the wait, showcasing the talent of our good friend, DJ Caspa.

As a London resident, DJ Caspa was brought to our attention when he started playing at Manchester night Poetry In Motion and from there quickly found himself in high demand in the North, to only further his undisputed established reputation in the south.

Currently Caspa, real name Tunde Adams, has moved on from his beginnings on the world renowned Rinse FM, and under his own steam with true grit and determination has made sure everyone has heard his name. His quality sets are have created legendary nights all over the world now, and with 2013 seeing him take on a number of residencies, its seems his Percolate one has served him best, now signed up to the Percolate Agency.

The future for this humble guy is certainly bright, and his years of experience seem to be holding him in good stead. Finally we are beginning to see him turn his hand to production and with his first tracks already signed its only a matter of time until a big label gets hold of him. Recore? We should be so lucky!

Even though Nils Penner, also known as one half of Penner + Muder, is not a new name in this business this is his first release on Exploited and guess what? It couldn’t be a better fit.
Penner, originally from Bremen, brings his unique sound which comprises a flawless and balanced mix of deep house, heavy grooves and well thought-out basslines. After releasing on labels such as Freerange, Suol and Compost Black Label, Penner succeeds to amaze again.

The two tracks on this new single are each other’s perfect supplement. They both breath out the light-heartedness that is an ideal fit for the beginning of Spring.
While „Bubbles” will put a smile on everyone’s faces with its feel-good rhythms, „The Thing” is an undeniable clubtrack with a nice old-school vocal that will get you and the ones around you dancing.

With this release Nils Penner is creating a warm and good-natured vibe so we suggest you just let it happen and experience it…

Since bursting onto the scene in 2010 with huge support from the likes of Laurent Garnier, John Digweed and Dave Clarke, Ireland’s Ian O'Donovan has gone on to achieve great feats as an artist. Ian has forged a unique style within the techno scene, blending a touch of the past with his melodic sound and moulding it into place with top level production. His tracks have found homes on iconic imprints such as Kevin Saunderson's KMS in Detroit, John Digweed's burgeoning Bedrock Records, Christian Smith's Tronic and Sasha's Last Night on Earth label.
Ian has reworked classics like Inner City's 'Good Life' and collaborated with legends like John Digweed along with a string of top solo releases, which have won favour with industry titans like Richie Hawtin and Carl Cox. After standout early releases on Detone and KMS, 2015 sees Ian O'Donovan's stock once more on the rise, fuelled further by the signing of inimitable techno cut 'Vortex' to Adam Beyer's global phenomenon Drumcode Records; an indication that this timeless producer is only now entering his stride. The Thule camp is hitting it hard these days. This time it‘s a collaboration between two pioneers within the Icelandic techno scene. On the A-side, we have Static, a hypnotic & atmospheric groove accompanied with indistinguishable voices and shimmering dub chords, and Útkall, a minimalist & hard-hitting dub techno mantra with a twist in the end will turn any late night clubbers buzz into an eternal blizz. On the other side we have the heavy-rhythmic oriented Sedna, where the drums and bass compliment each other in such a way that it might cause involuntary muscle movements, and then to finish it off we got Timelaps, a delicate minimalistic techno journey – waiting to send the listeners into a unexpected voyage to the unknown. 
Ohm is best known for his successful releases on Force Inc with Exos and a an inventive techno DJ. Octal Industries, a veteran who has already gained a reputation within the IDM community under his Ruxpin pseudonym, returns to his origins with collaboration with Ohm, a pioneer of the within the Icelandic scene. 
Thule Records is considered by many to be a pioneer in the field of dub-influenced techno music and was a starting point for many of Iceland‘s most renowned electronic musicians.
