Lindsey Herbert is a prominent figure in today's techno scene, particularly renowned across the US’ Southwest for her unwavering dedication to techno's more underground sounds and sound design, and her ability to command crowds no matter the circumstances.  

Beginning as a young raver with an intense passion for dance music and its community, Lindsey began her own musical journey at the age of 15 and has been at it for nearly half of her life. Since her first gig in 2014, she has been a fixture alongside top-tier artists in the bustling scenes of Los Angeles and San Francisco, leaving an indelible mark on both cities. Originally a resident and booker of Robot Ears and now a resident of Direct to Earth, Lindsey has been an integral part of San Francisco's techno landscape, while also gracing the stages of prominent LA promoters such as OBSERVE, Synthetik Minds, 6AM, Dirty Epic, RE/FORM, and more. Her influence extends beyond borders with steady headlining gigs both domestically and internationally, while her more recent relocation to Phoenix sees her actively nurturing the local techno community as a resident of Techno Snobs. 

In 2019, Lindsey made her solo production debut on LA's Ascetic Limited, marking the beginning of a prolific journey in the studio. Her discography has grown exponentially, with recent drops on esteemed U.S. underground labels like Truncate, 4-Trk, Blank Code, Northern Parallels, and Crisis of Man, as well as notable European and South American imprints such as Noise Manifesto, Planet X, NECHTO, Suara and many others. The future holds even more promise with countless forthcoming releases on the horizon.

However, Lindsey's trajectory extends far beyond her production career. Notably, she graced the stages of Movement Festival in Detroit and the iconic Tresor in Berlin in 2023, further solidifying her presence on the global stage. Additionally, she was personally invited by techno luminary Richie Hawtin to tour throughout North America as part of his From Our Minds concept, further cementing her status in the industry. 

In a noteworthy evolution, Lindsey's personal sound has transitioned to a more hypnotic, groovy, and dancefloor-oriented style. Her sets, ranging from ambient to deep to peak-time and high-energy, are meticulously crafted to suit the atmosphere, aiming to immerse listeners in a captivating journey and lock them into a relentless groove.

Beyond her performances and productions, Lindsey is also a co-founder of EvilGroove, a burgeoning label that continues to expand its roster of talented emerging artists. The label has been actively hosting showcases, providing a platform for the next generation of techno talent to shine.

Known for delivering sets that blend groovy, tribal and hypnotic elements, she’s earned plays at top clubs including H0L0, Elsewhere, SILO, and Signal. Her recent debut track on the Brooklyn-based label IMPULSE CØNTROL captures that same driving spirit, marking the next step in her evolving artist journey.

As the Creative Director for IMPULSE CØNTROL, Michelle Kay also plays a pivotal role in curating the collective’s discography and cultivating intimate, immersive parties and workshops across cities like Amsterdam, Berlin, and New York. Her work behind the scenes is as intentional as her performances, shaping the label’s creative direction with a sharp ear and a deep sense of community.

Spanish-born and currently residing in Metro Detroit, Víctor has over 30 years of experience in the electronic scene. He has been a key figure in the development of electronic music in northern Spain, playing a fundamental role as a resident DJ and programmer at some of the most influential clubs in Galicia, such as La Capilla, Las Torres, and El Manco.

Throughout his extensive career, Víctor has explored various genres but has always found his identity in the most underground techno. His main influences come from Detroit techno, Birmingham industrial techno, and German minimal techno. However, his versatility has allowed him to venture into other styles like electro, drum & bass, minimal, progressive house, and tech house.

His talent has led him to perform on prestigious international stages and festivals in countries like Portugal, France, Germany, and Mexico, including renowned venues and events worldwide. In Spain, he has made his mark at various prominent venues and festivals across the country.

In 1995, he founded the record store Renegade Records, and as a business evolution, in 1997 he created Fresh Records and the events agency Fresh Booking, which remains active after more than 28 years under the name Fresh Beats. Together with Fran Rodríguez, he launched the record label Blue Know Recordings, Galicia’s first techno label dedicated exclusively to vinyl.

In 2022 and 2023, he co-produced the outdoor festival Brétema in Galicia. Despite residing in Metro Detroit, he continues to contribute to the development of the electronic scene in Galicia and is currently involved in the production of Ardora Fest in Vigo. He is also responsible for the Podcast series for Fresh Beats.
