ALEXANDER KOWALSKI is someone you should know. Not only is he a resident artist at our club, but with uncountable EPs and several albums on Heiko Laux’ label Kanzleramt and others, he has contributed more to electronic music than many others. To have a separate platform for the darker and harder productions of his, he created the alias D_FUNC. a while ago.
When he approached us with the tracks that are now on the record in hand, we immediately fell in love with the Mills-like energy of them. Perfect drum programming, driving synth lines - two perfect tools for any proper techno set.

The Dirt Mix of Revalism which is included in the digital release package puts the original in a more modern jacket with its stompy beat - another proof of how well Alexander knows what the djs need to please their crowd.

Her style blends hypnotic grooves with stripped‑down grit, moving through minimal tech, groovy techno, acid‑tinged wonk, post‑club chaos, and sub‑heavy introspection. Music is both refuge and rebellion — a place to bend the rules and rewrite the narrative.

This mix is a raw, unfiltered snapshot of her inner world, shaped by the places, cultures, and emotions that define her. It opens with hypnotic, dreamy and nostalgic tones touched by fragments of her roots, before shifting into deeper, more percussive textures. Soma welcomes LA based Alexander Kulikov for a special release on the label, bringing the deep and dubbed out ‘October Dreams Pt.1’. The self professed ‘Dub Techno enthusiast’ has been involved in various musical activities in his time but has begun to focus more on the roots of his chosen sound throughout the last few years - bringing the traditional sound of Detroit & Berlin into his productions. This release (part 1 of 2) sees him delving into deep sonic experiments with ethereal soundscapes and atmospheres set to a backdrop of psycho-acoustic noise and static with the faintest of percussive elements helping to keep the rhythm. The release also features a special remix from one of Detroit’s best kept secrets as DeepLabs boss, Luke Hess turns in a perfectly crafted, Detroit inspired version of Stream.

We are super excited to present the 142nd episode from @aumrecordings co-founder TENO!

TENO is a DJ and producer currently based in Osaka, who has been making a strong impact on the techno scene in recent years through both his DJ sets and productions. His activities now extend not only throughout Japan but also across Europe, China, and other parts of Asia.

On the international podcast circuit, he was featured as the first artist in the new FOWRE series on Eerste Communie, curated by Marrøn, one of the world’s leading DJs based in the Netherlands. He has also contributed mixes to labels such as Polygonia’s IO Records, Nebuleus, Reverse, Tensione Collective, and CONCEPTUAL VIOLENCE.

As a producer, TENO continues to release music on labels around the globe. Through his own techno label Aum Recordings, he released an EP featuring a remix by Munich-based artist Polygonia. Additionally, he collaborated with world-renowned DJ Wata Igarashi, who contributed a remix for TENO’s first vinyl EP, DONT CRY OVER SPILLED MILK.

In February 2025, TENO launched a second label, Monos, with the aim of expressing his unique artistic identity. The label has already released the Violet EP and Primrose EP, with the Yuugao EP set to follow soon.

Resident of @resurrection_berlin, @figments - K-H1 is a music project by Berlin-based Sergey Barinov in collaboration with Luke Mombrea. K-H1’s vision is to be boundary-pushing: weaving together pulsating rhythms and striking, tripped-out soundscapes to create a tight, yet distinct techno sound.

His sets mirror his bold production style. Oscillating between dark, vibrant, and cinematic themes underlined by heavy, driving grooves, he invites listeners to embark on a hypnotic journey together.

K-H1’s releases have garnered recognition and support from influential figures, and have graced venues such as Berghain, RSO, Bassiani, and Smolna38. Quickly establishing a unique presence on the techno scene, K-H1 is one to watch.

Paàl is a Berlin-based live act and producer with a versatile, percussive approach to club music. Moving between house and techno, his sound blends deep atmospheres with driving rhythmic intensity, creating immersive and physical dance floor experiences. His hardware live sets are spontaneous and energetic, offering a raw and evolving take on contemporary club performance. As a producer, he has released on labels including Bipolar Disorder, Fides, Midnight Shift and Club QU, with tracks that balance clarity and groove. With appearances at venues such as Berghain, Tresor and RSO, Paàl continues to shape a sound defined by depth, openness and freedom from genre boxes.

In this set, Paàl delivers a journey into hypnotic grooves and subtle intensity, capturing just the right amount of deepness for those steaming, sunlit mornings. Rhythms simmer and roll with energy, carrying the dance floor forward in a haze of warmth and momentum.

Guliver is all about deep, dark, boundary-pushing soundscapes.
With Sicilian roots and a Berlin base, he crafts sets that blend experimental electronic and dark ambient sounds, creating an experience that's both hypnotic and intense.
Both his productions and mixes pulse with raw energy and a mystical edge, drawing inspiration from contemporary, cutting-edge techno as well as early 2000's influences.
Guliver's cinematic style invites one on an immersive journey filled with intricate textures and captivating rhythms.
Guliver's journey began in West Sicily, where he performed in 2011/12 before expanding to Malta and northern Italy. After moving to London in 2015, he became a regular at the "Jaded Afterparty" at Corsica Studios.
Now based in Berlin, he has played at renowned venues such as Griessmühle, Suicide Circus, OXI, and Renate. In 2022, Guliver joined the collective and started his residency at the Berlin/Cologne-based event series "Playhaus".
