this album was so important for me as a youngin 😍

I can still remember the early 2000s, when Alexander Kowalski played a live set at Phonodrome or Click on the Hamburg Reeperbahn at the Nobistor. I ran up to him as a little fanboy even before his live set and desperately begged him to play this track, but he told me that it wasn’t actually planned for that live set. However, he offered to maybe play it at the end of the set, depending on how his setup was arranged.  And indeed, at the very end of the set, he integrated a somewhat makeshift version of the track into his live act for probably five minutes or so. For me, that was absolutely mind-blowing, because I love this track more than anything... that was definitely one of the most defining techno moments in my life, and all the more so, I’m thrilled to have rediscovered the track now. I’ve just decided to dig out the vinyl I still own from my basement. Sometimes, you just need to take a moment to remember. Thank you for this wonderful piece of music.
