Culese din Cartier prezintă noul album Argatu': ”Volumul III” - un catalog de piese în care folclorul este mult mai bine fixat în sunet. Discul va fi lansat pe 30 mai, la Arenele Romane, în cadrul Soundcheck Fest 021.

Proaspătul album oferă ascultatorilor o origine și o rădacină mult mai bine înfiptă în pământul românesc, un underground folclor mai puternic.

“Albumul diferă de celelalte două, în special prin maturitatea pe care o transmite, plus evoluția sunetului și claritatea acestora, dusă la un alt nivel. Volumul III reprezintă un apogeu pe care l-am atins în materia de producție muzicală, mai multe genuri, combinații foarte multe între ritmuri: pe lângă hip hop, glitch, electronic dub, drum and bass, veți g[si rock, breakbeat sau dancehall” – Argatu’

Toate piesele poartă semnatura lui Argatu’ și conțin atât sample-uri de folclor, cât și sunete originale înregistrate în studio. Veți descoperi inclusiv sunete calde de caval, fluier, țambal, cimpoi și multe altele.

„Masca de pe copertă e realizată de Nicu Duță ca și concept, apoi executată de Vasile Nacu și editată de Mihai Gheorghe, cel care a făcut și sculptura microfonului de piatră pentru albumul Underground folclor. Ne-am gândit să aducem ceva original, așa că am făcut masca „în carne si oase” – Bean, Culese din Cartier.

Noul album Argatu’ va fi lansat în cadrul Soundcheck Fest 021, primul festival care lasă porțile deschise în timpul probelor de sunet. Ediția de anul acesta va avea loc pe 30 mai, la Arenele Romane. Biletele pentru festival pot fi cumpărate la prețul de 45 de lei în luna aprilie și la 55 de lei în luna mai.
