DUB IN THE FOG

For the 4th installment of our Shivercast series we asked record spinning, Berlin living & Australian born artist @0uxh to put together a selection of some tracks - and oooh he delivered!

Ouxh keeps true to his style of mindful dubfused and genre bending rhythms. Taking you on a journey starting out with tracks from the more drum-focused side to slowly building up tension with some trancy grooves and more heavy bass. Full of very subtil transitions & different roots it shows similarities to his top-quality release 'Machines in Care' on @lkrrecords a while back. 

The 1,5 hour journey definitely shows his talent for choosing and understanding dance records, electronic music & rhythms and will leave selectors a bit jealous. Listen & Learn!

The Artwork this time shows some atomic graphics from old 70s TV-Idents that Ouxh himself picked out. Imagine some minor shivering from those electron guns in your old tube television.

So excited to share this beautiful moody trip from the Eora based Sanguine @user-638584250. 

Keeping a low profile, Sanguine has caught many's attention over the past few years, as the producer/DJ/musician has steadily become distinguished by his ear for composition. Whether it be deep and detailed productions or creative and perfectly flowing mixes, Sanguine's refreshing take on club music always inspires me. Moving seamlessly between genres and rhythms, Sanguines Maybe mix is a wonderful encapsulation of his fresh style. A great soundtrack for a long summer car trip, a late afternoon or a silly early morning.

Time for the first Safe Radio episode in the brand new season six. This one marks the longest episode I've done so far in the series. 5 hours, 7 minutes and 50 seconds to be exact.

Prolific Italian duo Orion and dear friends of the Delayed team are ending the year with a bang, as they release ORN006 on their namesake label, their only solo release of the year.

We’re very happy to feature the A3 track - TWS. This wonderful piece of electro wastes no time, getting straight to the point with its acid line, bouncy percussion and eerie chords, being reminiscent of Aphex Twin with hints of Sega Soundtrack influence.  

In typical Orion style, this release is impressively versatile, starting out with ambient, and navigating through breakbeat and downtempo. The duo’s slow release policy is definitely paying off, as it’s clear that they prioritize quality above quantity, having not released a full solo release since April 2021. As always, we’ll be waiting for their next work, and immensely enjoying this in the meantime.

Orion's "Tenet" EP will be out on their own Orion label on December 15.
