The recording from my set for @fox-badge Circus of Desire event at the Steel Yard, London, where I had the honour of closing the main room. I unleashed some mega weapons that night and enjoyed every second of my time on the decks. EPIC doesn’t come close to describing this beautiful, immersive extravaganza - the very best I’ve experienced. What a crowd! Magic, misfits, spectacle and showmanship came together across a wonderfully, open-hearted and joyous community of people. An unforgettable night.

My immense gratitude to @alex-haw who has inspired and supported me in my journey as a DJ from day zero and for giving me the platform to play at his events.

Die Jahreszeit ist gekommen, in der sich die Blätter der Bäume rot-orange einfärben und letztendlich abfallen. Jedoch sehen die Blätter nicht jeden Herbst so schön bunt aus, denn dies hängt von dem Wetter ab, welches Einfluss auf die tollen Farben der Blätter nimmt. Brillante herbstfarbige Blätter entstehen durch warme, sonnige Tage und kühle Nächte. Regen und bewölkte Tage dagegen reduzieren die Lichtintensität und damit die Farbe. Der Herbst ist aber nicht nur bunt, sondern läutet auch die dunkle und kalte Zeit des Jahres ein. Eine Zeit in der man sich im Hause beim Kamin versammelt, eng zusammenrückt und Geschichten lauscht. Also eine perfekte Jahreszeit für deep stories. Unser italienischer Gast Massimo Logli hat sich so seine Gedanken über diese Jahreszeit gemacht und sie musikalisch festgehalten. Viele Spaß mit seiner deep story.

Melodic and groovy - That’s the sound of Marcel and Thomas from Germany, who decided in 2008 to find their place together in the electronic music scene.
Recently, they were titled “ministers of melody”.
Their first tracks together, which attributed to their respective experience as solo artists, already had the potential to knock on the doors of relevant labels of the scene.
After several digital offers, they received the opportunity for a vinyl-launch at their current home base “Parquet Recordings”. The foundation was built and many releases were to follow, including their biggest hits so far, “Orlando” and “Keep Going”.

Greek/French and London-born, Alexandra’s love of electronic music draws from her backgrounds in architecture, science and design. Her fascination with patterns and detail has led her to seek a combination of driving and cutting-edge sounds with beautiful melodies, enjoying nuances and subtle changes, and exploring deeper and more melancholic sounds. As with her award-winning publishing work (www.papadakis.net / @papadakisbooks), she takes her audience on a journey of both mind and soul through the intersection of nature and culture.

A developing passion for deep house and techno inspired her to organise yearly parties at Monkey Island Hotel in Bray, UK, and to develop Kimberfest (https://soundcloud.com/kimberfest), a unique, annual 4-day festival that is run at the home at her rural home in Berkshire where she lives with Kai - her partner in life, crime and music. Kimberfest is now in it’s 8th year, having attracted headliners including D-Nox, Roy Rosenfeld, Sebastian Mullaert, Beckers, John Monkman, and more recently, Jobe. 

2022 saw Alexandra & Kai launch a series of weekend ‘Kimber Sessions’, each of which is driven by the gathering of an eclectic group of people who want to spend time together outside the city and enjoy music from highly acclaimed and inspiring DJs and producers. Past guests have included Frankey & Sandrino, Jonas Saalbach and Gai Barone.

With an early education in music learning to play the violin and the piano, and a diverse taste in music ranging from Nick Cave and Robert Plant to Lamb and Aphex Twin, Underworld, Massive Attack, Orbital, LTJ Bukem and Nitin Sawhney, Alexandra has more recently been following artists such as Frankey & Sandrino, Sebastian Mullaert, Dominik Eulberg, Britta, Township Rebellion, Joris Voorn, Woo York, Roy Rosenfeld, Jobe, Jonas Saalbach, Gai Barone, whilst also finding influence from an ever-growing circle of talented musical friends. 

Always in search for new challenges, Alexandra is constantly developing a style and sound reflective of her varied interests - and her urge to bring joy and dance to the floor.
