Alex Virgo returns to Eats Everything’s Edible label after 2018’s simply huge ‘Ze Dance’ hit, with a follow up single that ramps up the disco chips with another floor filling monster, ‘Brother’.

With previous releases on Hot Creations, Relief, elrow and Sola, the UK- based producer and DJ now heads back to the Los Angeles imprint with another club-ready release.

‘High’ opens with a distinctly warm and bubbling Latmun bassline, a catchy vocal snippet, guitar licks and electric claps. Next, ‘Ready And Willing’ then thumps up the energy with zappy synths, swung percussion, sharp snares, chopped up vocals and fluttering sax-like stabs on the breaks.

Back in February we invited Dukwa over from Florence to come stay with us in Glasgow and write some music. The time spent locked away in the studio was similar to this social distancing we're dealing with at the moment actually... and coincidently we came up with a track that in retrospect, we thought was pretty apt for these strange times we are working through...
