We are happy to welcome on board fresh talent from Valencia in our next release. Daniel Kyo has previously released in labels such us Poker Flat, Drumpoet Community and recently in Days Of Being Wild or My Favorite Robot. His debut Ep on Factor City is called No Answers and includes two original tracks followed by remixes from Nhar, Switchst(d)ance and label honcho Undo.

The title song No Answers opens the Ep with techno energy and a pop flavor. Daniels vocals and an analog bass-line drive the song while layers of synths, fx and acid-lines take it to the next level. Nhars remix is an absolute winner as proved in many dance floors. The French producer has built a complete and irresistible new track using a vocal chop from the original.

After A Weird Night comes a weird track. In the second original cut from the Ep acid drones play with robot guitars and rough beats to create a track full of tension. For the remix duties we thought in the rising Portuguese producer Switchst(d)ance after his hot releases for Beachcoma and Areal. Hes converted the original jam into a 4 to the floor psychedelic burner where an arpeggiated and mutant bass-line is the main character. On his side and to complete the Ep Undo reworks the original playing with the stems and adding broken electro beats and a 303 line.

Squire agrega otra referencia genial a su currículum, lo que lo convierte en uno de los artistas mas en formas del momento, ya que lanza su EP debut en Einmusika, "The Hidden".

"Miscelanea" tiene un ritmo y unos graves más intensos y con más ritmo. Una melodía de sintetizador lenta y hermosa inyecta seriedad y seguridad, manteniéndonos enganchados mientras las notas vibrantes y gruñidos alternativamente mantienen una conversación, antes de que las voces de la ruptura prolongada con un ambiente del Medio Oriente marquen una sección rápida y total antes de que el sintetizador triste nos llame. 

La capacidad de Squire para captar la atención del oyente con sus sentidas melodías ha fascinado a los sellos de todo el mundo.

Alex Banks is a DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Brighton, UK. Praised by the likes of BBC Radio 6, Mixmag, Clash and Uncut, he makes music aimed at the dancefloor that thrills with its sonic intricacy and warm human feeling.
His prismatic sound design decorates rhythms influenced by jungle, broken beat and dubstep, while techno effects hiss and clank, and off-world IDM melodies snake around the arrangements. Bank’s sound carries instantly recognisable motifs and an impressive quality. All the while he consistently pushes the envelope with an adept technical skill and sound design which commands repeated listens.
‘Projections’ is the title of Banks’ third studio album that is set for release on Max Cooper’s Mesh in summer 2022. Characterised by his passion for analogue gear and experimentation, the work is a pure distillation of his production expertise and love for emotive synth sounds. The project includes visual collaborations with award-winning motion graphic designer Matthew Clugston and Tosh Fieldsend from renowned VFX house The Mill.
His other work includes critically acclaimed releases on Modeselektor’s Monkeytown, Ninja Tune and Hunter/Game’s Just This. Remix credits have seen brilliant re-works of Bonobo, RY-X and Raven Bush. On the collaborative front Banks is just as selective, linking with Max Cooper and Sasha respectively, the latter set for an April release on LNOE as part of the ‘TEN’ compilation. 
A musical polymath, when not immersed in the electronic world, Banks works as a sound designer, composing for film, TV and advertising campaigns. Notable achievements include projects for Global brands such as Nike, Heineken and Honda. 
Alex Banks is entering a fresh and exciting chapter in 2022. A master craftsman in the studio pushing his sound into inspiring new directions, he'll augment the eclectic  'Projections' project on Mesh with a new live AV set up, taking his creative output to a new level.
