Sunny

Now I’m counting days until the end of time, 
Thinking bout my father, 
Feeling all alone, 

Waiting all these years for it to come to this, 
Looking o’er my shoulder, 
Seeing if I’m gone, 

Running through those fields and o'e’r the mountaintop, 
Things that used to matter, 
When I was a child, 

God its been two years since I have seen their face, 
‘The best days are behind us,’ 

All my life I’ve been trying to be older, 
Now it doesn’t seem to matter very much to me. 

Days go by, like a raindrop or a stutter, 
But oh no they don’t seem to matter very much to me. 



Waiting oh so long for it to come to this, 
Sipping on my coffee, trying to stay awake, 

Pouring like a book, but I’m not dressed for this, 
Yesterday was summer, now it feels like mars, 

Leaves are turning red and I walk aimlessly, 
Missing all the Sunday mornings with the choir, 

Even now I know the voice of everyone, 
Doesn’t realy matter, No no no, 



All my life I’ve been trying to be older, 
Now it doesn’t seem to matter very much to me.

Don't Stay Low

Every morning up I go, 
Down the stairs and to the door, 

Smiling faces not for me, 
Makes me want them all the more, 

Down to earth and up to you, 
Through the clouds and through the roof, 

Question all the other fools, 
And listen closely to the rules,

Is an afternoon's delay, 

Evening sunshine falls,

A passing thought of Spring,
