8 years back Van Bonn mixed his first podcast for Deep Afterhour. To celebrate his latest release ‚Dual‘ he got in the studio for another mixing session to create another Deep Afterhour. His new release Dual is the first collaborational release on Van Bonn Records that was created by the long time friends Van Bonn and Tim Kossmann. Besides the three original tunes took dub techno monolith Steve O’Sullivan over the remix controls. The release is now available on clear bright green vinyl, download and on streaming platforms. Enjoy the podcast that features not only some of the tunes of the release but also other dubbed out vibes in between relaxation and groove without losing deepness out of sight.

I'd be lying if I said it was easy to play a sunsrise set at burning man... especially at robot heart.  I had to literally help pull an ancient cow statue down from the top of the heart two years ago to be sent to Germany.  It's like I had to do these ancient quests and other sunset sets to be put in the position to play this past burn, so i was not taking that lightly.  By sheer coincidence I found myself in Reno the night before this and drove straight from my set there to the middle of the desert to a gps location at 5:30 in the morning.  I prepared myself for the sunrise; I knew there would be some doubters, but that just made me work harder... oh and I was on acid.  I think it may have been the best dj set of my life so far ..

Having an excellent background that stretch to back in the past, he is currently one of the main exponent of Argentinian wave, well proud to push the South American sound worldwide. From a production point of view, he was recently under the spotlight thanks to his latest releases on Priku's Atipic, Cadenza and Raum...musik

Recorded in his studio, this mix is warm and very smooth, and includes an interesting selection with a good balance between old and upcoming tracks.

Bio Alex Blank

Can techno music be melancholic and  powerful at the same time? The sound of Alex Blank is a living proof.  Born in Pozarevac, Serbia, Alex made his first  contact with electronic sounds through the music of no one less than  Depeche Mode. Maybe that's where his mix of passionate and melodic synth  sequences in his recent productions derives from.
Around the turn  of the millenium, listening to music was no longer enough for Alex who  meanwhile moved to Germany. At this time he became a welcome guest at  many techno raves which inspired him a lot. Five years later, his  excitement led to the organising of Alex' own event series 'Faster  Party' which connected the whole underground techno scene around  Dortmund from 2005 to 2011.
Being an excited music lover and event  organiser it was no surprise that Alex finally started Djing himself in  summer 2012. He played his first set under his former alias Disha at  the first episode of his brandnew party series Kommune 44. For the next  year to come, MAD Club in Dortmund was his residency as a DJ and also a  place where he gained experience in booking business. Alex also became  head of the Blank Kollektiv Crew – a name which stands for high quality  techno parties.
Producing his own music was the next natural step  in Alex' career which followed in 2014 with his first release, the  Moments EP on Jeahmon Records. In 2015 the track 'Mind in Music' became  his contribution to the Eisenwaren compilation which gained lots of  support by big names such as Sascha Dive, Marco Carola, Danny Tenaglia  and many more. In 2017 he released Dischord EP on  Authentisch Musik. 2018 “Veine” was released on Raving Society.  2019 his next Release will be  on Andre Croms Label OFF Recordings with an outstanding Remix by Yan Cock. 
In his versatile release Alex mixes catchy snares and  progressive rhythms with deep synth stabs and dubby chords. As you will  experience by listening to his new EP, Alex perfectly manages to unite  melancholy and power in music.
