We’re now thrilled to announce his latest release, The Lake — a shimmering new cut that dives even deeper into his genre hopping sound. Alongside the title track are ‘Untitled Acid’ and ‘Untitled Electro’. As their names suggest, they explore acid and electro-infused vibes, all within the ever-evolving Citizens Of Vice sonic ethos.

On remix duties, our long-term collaborator — and one of our absolute favourites — Pete Herbert (Music For Swimming Pools) delivers not one but two stellar reworks, each infused with his unmistakable style.

When this man comes to town you know that the quality will not falter. British label Underground Audio bring inimitable Germany-based producer SIS into the family this month. The Crosstown Rebels stalwart submits a mind-blowing remix of 'Unidos', a track from rising UK producer Yacine Dessouki. SIS brings his signature touch to the release, he's crafted a epic seven minute journey, while utilising the original vocal to great effect. Also featuring remixes on the record are Mancherster's Rudosa and Mobilee artist Ray Okpara.

Alex Burtan was born in April 1985 in a modest family from Bucharest, Romania. He had his first contact with music at the age of 4 when he improvised his first set of drums. Five years later he received the first radio cassette player with recording function and that's when the fun began. He was not encouraged by his family to study music, even though he really wanted it and his childhood passion slowly died out. At the age of 15, he had the opportunity to play music for the first time and the flame was rekindled at that moment. For two years he was a resident of a night club in Bucharest. From that moment until now, he has played music both in the country and abroad. In 2023 he started producing electronic music and here you can find all the songs produced by him.
