Sonic manipulator Maxfield is back with his newest release, Under the Pink Umbrella. His latest EP merges the worlds of funk and glitch hop into one harmonious union, with one heavy hitting track after the next. This Boston local pairs upbeat dance music with low end wonkiness, smashing genres together and keeping crowds moving. A chilled out break in the madness comes in the track “Spooky Bigheat,” but it still stays true to the EP’s funky, glitchy nature.
