He who tended to KD Music’s ‘Night Garden’ in 2012 is back to raise a techno temper out of Turin. Piled high with anxious stabs and snipes, Alex Costa’s ‘Raw Zoo’ is a pulsating culmination of gaskets being blown, emergency glass being broken and the lock to the lion's enclosure going missing. 
The remix from Wigbert has the German playing ping-pong in hyperspace while throwing down an escalating storm of pinched metal, and the gulping rhythm of the perfectly titled 'Bleak Sensation', gallops with layers of hi-hats and a single white hot string line. Techno turning the screw when time is running out.

Italian artist Alex Costa is the man behind the next release on !Organism, a fierce four track affair featuring three originals and a remix from Joton. 

Costa is a techno DJ and producer of international standing. He plays all over the world and has a steady release schedule that finds him at home on assured outlets like Terminal M, Toolroom and Intacto. Infusing his sounds with all styles of tech, funk, tribalism, house and more, his work is often heard in the sets of DJs like Karotte, Richie Hawtin and Dubfire.

Opening up his account here in arresting fashion is 'Sync In', a six minute masterpiece of spacious techno with a well buried groove embellished with eerie and dystopian synths and hard hitting kicks and claps. Its a cerebral offering that really sucks you in. The equally succulent 'Sequences Teebee' is another spacious and hypnotic track that is simple but effective in its darkly seductive ways. 

Spaniard Joton a reliable techno head whose latest album was picked as one of the best of the year by German mag Groovegoes hard on his remix, layering up cantering drums and rampant hits, threading some spooky synths through it all and never letting the pressure release. Lastly, the hugely effective 'Ain' is a heavyweight track that burrows deep into your brain with its hurried drums, freaky synthetic hooks and general air of techno mania. 

This is a fresh sound once more from Organism, and one that will please a wide array of techno heads thanks to its left of centre sounds and forceful grooves.
