Little did Alex know when he started compiling music for his friends in his teenage years, that only a few years later, while beginning to explore vinyl and digital ways of mixing, his real journey in music began. He spent many years in Asia, practicing and teaching KungFu, believing that knowing yourself is the ultimate tool. About two decades later, Alex is still on this path, constantly shaping his signature sound. Various labels like Kosa, Suprematic, Shango Records and Zolotaya Orda just to name a few have released his music. From deep, active sound to funky grooves; there are no genre limitations for him. This release has a long history. I’ve heard “Into the night” in the series Twin Peaks for the first time. It was the early nineties. Since I fell in love with the music of Angelo Badalametti and with everything that the great David Lynch does. I had the idea to remix this track a long time ago. However, it was possible to record a cover version only in 2017, together with the singer Tatyana Shchelokova and my friend and teacher Max Sozonov (RIP).

Last year I had an idea to make a new sound for this cover and release it on my label downtempo, baby! My friends Reyneke (DE), Alex Doerind (ES) and SEVN(CA) joined me. Thanks guys, this wouldn't have happened without you! On June 9 of this year died Julee Cruz. She was the singer, who first performed "Into the night" in 1990 for Twin Peaks. We dedicate this release to her. 
RIP Julle!

Alex is a sound nomad venturing through sound and silence. Producing and mixing music is his way of sharing this passion and a way to express what is beyond words. He believes that a mindful and dedicated practice brings about a deeper understanding of both: sound and silence. 
Various labels like Kosa, Monada, Suprematic, Shango Records and Zolotaya Orda have released his music. From deep, active sound to funky grooves. It’s about simplicity. His aspiration is to connect people — with one another, with the music and with themselves.
