Hernan Cattaneo's fine imprint is back with another slab of underground goodness.
Its Kassey Voorn who steps up to take his turn, and delivers Chords From The Heart.
Kassey has released music on such fine labels as Cocoon and Bedrock and his fans go from Sasha to Armin Van Buuren to Sven Vath.
Chords From The Heart Original mix is a tasty building warm gem, phat and driving, with layers of melody, while retaining a deep edge. Then the drop arrives and the temperature is turned right up as the track explodes. A bit of monster, as they say!
The talented duo from Microtrauma are remix duties, having racked up tracks and remixes for Traum, Monique Musique and Basmati, these boys are hot property.
The remix they delivered is a superb slab of melancholic techno, utilising the melodies from the original, but adding a deeper slant, yet keeping the vibe for a peak time winner.
Jerusalem born Muzarco has had his work remixed by Hernan Cattaneo, John Tejada, Guy J and Roland M. Dill, and now its his turn to return the favour.
His remix is an emotive but moody electronica tinged techno workout, bubbling along with underlying filth while the synthy pads add atmosphere.

Not one to revel too much in the limelight, Johannes Brecht prefers to ply his trade in the shadows - fitting for his oceandeep productions. The Stuttgart native marks his first outing on Steve Bug's inimitable Poker Flat Recordings with an exceptionally atmospheric EP sure to make it's mark with the deeper end of the DJ fraternity. 

'What's About' bumps along with an irresistible groove, incorporating a sweet guitar lick and various backward synths before a sick bass line arrives to lift the track yet further into the ether. It's house music for music lovers, and sure to go over big with discerning dance floors. 

Likewise, the epic 11-minute 'You' develops with a sense of style and restraint often missing in the club, and revolves around beautifully realized synth pads over a crisp, punchy rhythm.

Beatport customer can also pick up the equally impressive and lengthy 'Deep Down', which hints at Brecht's love of Detroit - a left field bomb for the heads.

Drawing on releases from the last five years, Dessous Recordings gather together a choice selection of Steve Bug's stellar remixes. It's a compilation that showcases an array of glittering talent and provides a snapshot of the maestro's signature sound. As 'The Long Run' - Bug's collaboration with Victor Font - makes clear, this is house music that sees itself as part of a grand tradition, following in the footsteps of US pioneers from both Chicago and NYC. In line with this, a number of bona fide living legends get the Bug treatment, from the hypnotic vibes of Chez Damier's seminal 'CanYou Feel It' to the blue-tinged chords that lift Ron Allen's 'Wordz' to the brittle semiquavers that act as a perfect foil to the soaring vocals on 'Rise' - an undoubted album highlight.

Within the limits of the deep house blueprint, there are surprises at every turn, from the blissful chords of Lovebirds' 'The Rain' to the immersive repetitions of Martin Müller's youAND:THEMACHINES project to the buoyant pulse of Manuel Tur's 'Ara Anam'. For uncompromising lovers of all things deep, there's Simon Baker's 'Grey Area', lifted by dancing cowbells galore, and a hard-hitting version of Ric McClelland's Scope. And for DJs with an eye on the dancefloor there's Bug's rework of 'At Midnight' - his collaboration with Vincenzo from way back in 2000 - an irresistible groove with an incredibly catchy synth riff.

We're also treated to two re-imaginings of contemporary classics. From earlier this year, there's Bug's stripped-back sub bass heavy version of Garnier's 'Whistle for Frankie' while the deeply reflective take on Francis Harris's 'Pensum' provides the perfect comedown to a glorious long night.
