The Alex O'Rion Alternative Mix illustrates a deeper side to the Dutchman’s production work with its head-shaking grooved bassline and syncopated hi-hat pattern. The central motif so prevalent in the first remix is stripped back to illustrate rippling delayed patterns alongside steam-powered white noise washes, while a cavernous glissando bassline adds depth and power post-breakdown to imposing effect.

Sergey Muzarks makes a quick turn around and lands back on Deersky’s Soundteller Records with ‘Time Flow’. Having debuted on the label in June with the well received ‘Timeless’, the Russian artist has also found a home on Freegrant Music and Matan Caspi & Stan Kolev’s Outta Limits imprint. Now making a welcome return to Soundteller, Sergey presents a brand new two track artist showcase.

The peak time sensibility’s of Sergey’s ‘Timeless’ EP gets continued here with the title track ‘Time Flow’. Punchy beats, electric rhythms and a deep thumping bass line unite for a powerful low end, while ethereal overlays and piercing stabs add mightily to its groovy nature. Tantalizing tones and cosmic arps take the narrative into a timely break, melting down to wave of luminous electronics and vocal swells, before a tasteful build cues a powerful drop and charged finale.

The smooth, euphoric energy continues with the companion piece ‘Air Castle’. It’s meaty kicks and crisp rhythmic core provide a perfect balance of bounce and drive. Striking effects and hopeful pads layer the rolling groove, as two tonal themes intertwine amidst a haze of ethereal vocals and aquatic artefacts. Concise and effective, the break builds drama through rising modulation and atmospheric waves before a rush of drums preludes a reflective final movement. It makes for a superb return to Soundteller for Sergey, who continues to deliver high quality work here. Highly recommended.

Alex Efe is a Uruguayan DJ and music producer based in Montevideo, passionate and dedicated to the constant progress and evolution of electronic music, focusing on the House genre and its variations.

Deeply influenced by Global Underground through the work of renowned artists such as Sasha, Nick Warren, and Digweed, among others, his innate curiosity and restlessness as a self-taught musician—always exploring new formats, sounds, textures, and musical techniques—has led him throughout his life on a personal journey of self-discovery, healing, and evolution.

His music has received support from various artists such as Hernan Cattaneo, Weird Sounding Dude, Simply City, Marcelo Vasami, DJ Rudy, Cream, Mayro, and Ricky Ryan. He has released tracks on labels including Electronic Groove Records, Lake Underground, Starlight Group, Future Avenue, AH Digital, and OneDotSixTwo. This has driven his regional expansion with performances in Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, and Brazil—one of his main goals being to share his musical expression worldwide.

Since 2011, he has led the Clubbing Mvd project alongside Diego Berrondo as well as Progressive House Uruguay, organizing events in his home country while promoting and inspiring new talent.
