‘Face to Face’ is inspired by the serenity we all yearn for, those rare moments when all our worries and problems fade away. Precious pauses in our lives when it's like coming face to face with our own being while looking at our lives reassuring ourselves that they are exactly as they should be. 
Brief moments of fulfillment, of calm in the storm of our expectations and emotions. A face-to-face with our own lives in the here and now. Turning out to be pretty ok.

“Flaming Hair” is the theme of Virna, the woman with a gentle soul and fiery hair who stood beside Nathan through his darkest years. After Aila’s disappearance, she remained close to him, caring for Dilem as if he were her own child, while quietly carrying a love she dared not confess.
The melody mirrors the constancy of her affection, the warmth of her presence, and the tenderness with which she slowly broke through the walls around Nathan’s heart. Within its soft notes lies the weight of longing and the sweetness of hope, as the theme swells like a flame that refuses to fade.
There is a serene, almost maternal lyricism that gradually transforms into something deeper , a love both patient and steadfast, born from shared sorrow and unwavering devotion. “Flaming Hair” is the portrait of a woman who loved in silence, yet whose warmth was enough to rekindle the heart of a weary warrior.

ALEXEI AIGUI is one of the most striking and versatile Russian composers. The success of his soundtrack to Valery Todorovsky’s Country of the Deaf was so mind blowing that it turned the Russian music life in the late 1990s upside down. Thanks to him, soundtracks masterfully entered the concert halls and clubs, and instrumental music peaked the interest of the general public.

With ease, Aigui combines the piercing sensuality with strict form; the touching beauty of sound with experiments, minimalism and rock with contemporary music. He has written dozens of instrumental scores and more than 50 soundtracks for films by Raoul Peck, Hirokazu Koreeda, Pascal Bonitzer, Andrey Proshkin among others. His track record will add an HBO project at the end of 2020. His compositions are performed by leading Russain musicians like pianists Alexei Lyubimov and Alexei Goribol, violinist Tatiana Gridenko, Opus Posth ensemble, St.Petersburg Symphony Orchestra among others.

As a violinist, he initiated international projects with various musicians including the famous French composer and creator of sound machines, Pierre Bastien, french jazz-singer Mina Agossi, German pianist Dietmar Bonnen, and Japanese violinist Keisuke Ota, and actively performs with his ensemble “4’33’’”. He plays on well-respected world stages and festivals in Germany, France, Japan, Belgium and Russia.
