Born in the Azores, where the wind shapes landscapes and the sea dictates invisible rhythms, BETIX carries all that untamed essence into her music and artistic vision. The nature of her homeland, marked by the strength and serenity of the ocean, is reflected in her sonic approach: powerful, yet fluid, with an intensity that emerges from within and connects to the environment around her.

As a DJ, she leads the dancefloor with technique, sensitivity, and intuition, creating an intense and immersive journey where the energy of pure, hypnotic, and groovy Techno captivates the listener from start to finish.

In addition to mixing tracks, BETIX also composes music in a LIVE format, where she creates and shares her inner world in real time. It is here that the artist creates arrangements, percussions, and semi-modular melodies that shape a sonic atmosphere that will only exist in that moment. Her voice is also used as an almost ritualistic element – sometimes in a hypnotic chanting that resonates like a mantra, sometimes in provocative vocals that tear through the sound and challenge the listener, and sometimes in a more introspective register, creating tension and mystery. It is in this format that the surrender to just one musical genre loses strength in favor of a broader exploration.

Regardless, every type of performance is an irreplaceable journey, where the unexpected is welcomed and the connection with the audience shapes the sonic path itself.
