On the heels of the recent arrival of Sound Quelle's debut artist album ("Iridescent"), we're excited to share several visionary new interpretations of two of the standout tracks from that LP: "Iridescent" (the title cut) and "Boundless". Ranging from uplifting to deeply atmospheric, each remix captures a unique mood, inspired by Sound Quelle's sonic alchemy with singer-songwriter Brandon Mignacca, who graced both original tracks. A trio of venerable label veterans -- Forerunners, eleven.five, and Manu Zain -- each contribute a stunning take. Approaching Black's "Dusk," the Australian phenom's debut artist album, was one of the highlights of our release schedule last year. Featuring emotive textures and evolving soundscapes, the two-part album represented the pinnacle of our vision of forward-thinking electronic music. We are thrilled to return to 'Dusk' through the lenses of four extraordinary talents on our roster: Forerunners, Movement Machina, Sundriver, and label newcomer Lar Gibbons. These artists bring their unique touch, ranging in style from peak-hour progressive to downtempo-influenced deep house, to several of the standout tracks on the album.

With a special talent for composing, sophisticated, deep, and atmospheric progressive and trance, Illias does not disappoint with this year's contribution, "Evolution." The tune begins with a deep bassline, chunky groove, and pensive, after-hours melodic texture. We are soon met by a hypnotic, celestially-inspired lead. Perhaps our "evolution" can only lead us beyond the confines of Earth? Adding to the brooding, contemplative atmosphere are heavily processed, breath-like female vocal stabs, which extend deep into each "phrase" of the song. In the main break, the "abduction" moment occurs, as the alien-like vox stabs and funky pad and synth effects transport the listener to a distant planet.

Alexey Sonar -  is one of the most ideological and active representatives of the Russian club industry, a DJ, a producer, a co-owner and a manager of the labels Intricate Records and SkyTop, the host of the weekly radioshow "SkyTop", and in the past his well known  worldwide radioshow «Asphalt» had been broadcasting for 10 years on the Internet and on FM radiostations in several countries. Today, his name is consistently in the top 5 rank as one of the best progressive house, melodic house & techno DJs in Russia.

As an artist, he regularly takes part in major music events in Russia, including Kazantip, Epizode, and actively travels with performances in Russia and around the world, whether it is the legendary London club Ministry of Sound, Europe or Exotic India, South Africa and Vietnam.

Regads to Alexei’s talents as a booking agent, clubbers of Russian cities, including his native home town Murmansk, were able to see and hear Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Grum, John 00 Fleming, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Gabriel & Dresden, Kolombo, Paul Oakenkefold , Orkidea,  Andy Moor, Cosmic Gate, Serge Devant, and many other artists. The most successful releases of Alexey have recently been released on the home label Intricate Records and have been supported by many top artists worldwide of the dance scene.
