With ‘Analog Junkies’ we welcome Canadian duo Beyond Physical to ICONYC with their latest two track masterpiece. Beyond Physical who have been causing quite a stir with their melodic techno / progressive house influenced productions make their debut with 2 stunning original tracks. Passionate about their métier and adept in a variety of genres, ambience is an integral component in the duo's production sound as techno, deep and progressive house are closely tied to sensations ranging across the spectrum from melancholy to delight. Now interchanging these differing moods into audile form.

Their latest outing shows maturity and musical development, as we kick off proceedings with ‘Dark Angel’, a collaboration with Veytik. The track opens with all the right notes, as the expressive, progressive house influenced track grabs you from the word go, interspersing with roomy glowing vibes and filtered stabs, driving leads culminating into an energetic drop to round off this brilliant underground crowd pleaser, with its understated yet driving bassline powering the groove along. Beyond Physical & Veytik manage to keep the energy up, subtlety allowing the driving feel to shine thru over the many layers and textures to create a beautiful soundscape.

To close out the duo's debut EP we have the deep, hypnotic title track ‘Analog Junkies’, which is interspersed with subtle effective percussion a profound deep-tech groove and indie influence, turning this one into an underground anthem with a very soul tangling appeal. In short, this EP is everything we have come to expect from Beyond Physical and a wonderful way to start their affiliation with ICONYC, as they once more show their sound remains as fresh, super-charged and relevant as it ever was.

Croatian producer Inverse releases his first EP on Plaisirs Sonores Records. 'Diamonds from Lady Evelyn' is a deep, delicate and surprising track. Perfect for a mysterious and mellow opening. His second track on the EP, 'Jungle Illusion' is a bit more energetic and transmits a nature soundscapes ambiance. Alexey Sonar -  is one of the most ideological and active representatives of the Russian club industry, a DJ, a producer, a co-owner and a manager of the labels Intricate Records and SkyTop, the host of the weekly radioshow "SkyTop", and in the past his well known  worldwide radioshow «Asphalt» had been broadcasting for 10 years on the Internet and on FM radiostations in several countries. Today, his name is consistently in the top 5 rank as one of the best progressive house, melodic house & techno DJs in Russia.

As an artist, he regularly takes part in major music events in Russia, including Kazantip, Epizode, and actively travels with performances in Russia and around the world, whether it is the legendary London club Ministry of Sound, Europe or Exotic India, South Africa and Vietnam.

Regads to Alexei’s talents as a booking agent, clubbers of Russian cities, including his native home town Murmansk, were able to see and hear Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Grum, John 00 Fleming, Nick Warren, Dave Seaman, Gabriel & Dresden, Kolombo, Paul Oakenkefold , Orkidea,  Andy Moor, Cosmic Gate, Serge Devant, and many other artists. The most successful releases of Alexey have recently been released on the home label Intricate Records and have been supported by many top artists worldwide of the dance scene.
